ODSC West 2022 is fast approaching and we’ve been hard at work finalizing the conference schedule. We already have 100+ hands-on training sessions, expert-led workshops, and talks confirmed, with 80+ sessions coming soon. Monday, October 31st – Day 0: Pre-Conference Bootcamp Day
The first unofficial day of ODSC West 2022 is the virtual-only Pre-Conference Bootcamp Day. Mini-Bootcamp and VIP Pass holders will have access to four live virtual sessions on data science fundamentals. Confirmed sessions include:
- Introduction to Python for Data Analysis
- An Introduction to Data Literacy with SQL
- Statistics for Data Science
- Introduction to Machine Learning
For those with In-Person Mini-Bootcamp Passes who will be in San Francisco Monday night, we are also hosting our first Mini-Bootcamp dinner. Join us to meet and connect with your fellow Mini-Bootcamp attendees.
Tuesday, November 1st – Day 1
Tuesday, November 1st, marks the first official day of ODSC West 2022. We will kick both the in-person and virtual conferences off with Keynote talks from some of the best and brightest minds in data science and AI. Both virtual and in-person attendees will have a wide range of training sessions, workshops, and talks to choose from. You’ll also have the chance to learn about the tradeoffs of building AI from scratch or buying it from a third party at the AI Expo and Demo Hall, where SAS, Microsoft Azure, Saturn Cloud, Z by HP, and more will be showcasing their products and services.
Day 1 will also be your only chance to learn how AI is transforming industries like Biotech and Pharma, Retail, and more from leading experts in AI and business at the Ai X Business and Innovation Summit. Learn more here.
After the conference closes for the day, in-person attendees will have the opportunity to connect with their peers at several events, including the in-person meetup and Dinner with Data Scientists.
Wednesday, November 2nd – Day 2
Like Day 1, Day 2 starts off with Keynote Talks on cutting-edge developments in data science and AI. It will also feature virtual and in-person hands-on training sessions, workshops, and talks on machine learning, NLP, Responsible AI, and machine learning for security and safety.
Day 2 also marks the last day you can meet with the organizations and startups shaping the future of AI and data science at the AI Expo and Demo Hall. Stop by for live demonstrations of their products and services and gather the data you need to make that build vs. buy decision.
In-person attendees will also have the opportunity to meet with expert speakers at our Meet the Speakers event. Finally, we will close out the day with the ODSC Networking Reception where you can connect with your peers over drinks and small bites.
Thursday, November 3rd – Day 3
The last day of ODSC West 2022 will start the day off strong with Keynote Speakers, and will continue with hands-on training sessions, expert-led workshops, and talks on key topics and tools.
We will also be hosting the Ai+ Career Expo for both our in-person and virtual attendees. Join us there to learn about the ins and outs of the data science job market, meet with our hiring partners, and prepare to take the next step in your career.
In-person attendees will also have the opportunity to learn more about what VC investors are looking for in a startup and about some of the data science and AI startups that have recently entered the market during the AI Investor Reverse Pitch and the AI Startup Showcase.
