    Steven Skarupa is an Enterprise Architect at Venerable where he is primarily focused on innovation and bringing impactful solutions and architectures to life. In this role he acts as an internal consultant to development, infrastructure, and the business community to help teams develop the optimum solutions to their everyday problems. Currently focused on cloud-based architectures and developing solutions to the ever-increasing financial reporting and workflow sprawl. During his long career, starting off as a developer and working his way up to manager of managers, he has extensive experience working with financial and trading back-offices having setup and developed a complete Master Data Management practice as well as managed multiple development teams building large scale distributed systems. In addition to his work in back-office systems, he has also deep understanding of user-driven design and product management, having spent 5+ years as a product manager running a team of developers, designers and analysts who used a hybrid eXtreme programming methodology. In his current role, he brings his years of hands-on development and management skills together with his technical experience to act as an internal consultant to help Venerable build robust solutions.
