Christoph Windheuser is the Global Head of Artificial Intelligence at ThoughtWorks Inc. Before joining ThoughtWorks, he gained more than 20 years of experience in the industry in several positions at SAP and Capgemini. Prior to that, he completed his Ph.D. in Neural Networks with a focus on Speech Recognition at the University of Bonn, Germany, Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh, USA, Waseda University in Tokyo, Japan, and France Telekom (E.N.S.T.) in Paris, France.
Tanuj Jain is a Senior Machine Learning Engineer working at Axel Springer AI (located in Berlin) since December 2019. He was previously a part of Data Science team at idealo Internet GmbH. His current interests revolve around deep learning research for speech and image processing. He completed M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering from Paderborn University in 2015 and my B.Tech from GGSIP University, New Delhi in 2010. He is very interested in leveraging the power of machine learning to empower businesses and measure the impact thus created.
Sara is a Senior Research Associate in Biomedical Data Science and University Research Lecturer at the University of Oxford, where she is the Machine Learning Lead in the Centre for Statistics in Medicine. She has 12 years of experience in machine learning, signal processing, and intelligent remote monitoring research, with applications in biomedical and planetary health informatics. Sara has served on the NASA Frontier Development Lab Artificial Intelligence Panel and the NASA Climate Challenge Big Think. She is a National Geographic Society Explorer in Tracking Plastic Pollution with Remote Monitoring and Machine Learning. Sara is also a University of Oxford Ambassador for Women in Data Science.
Maarten started programming at the age of 10, starting with simple web sites, but ending up on full stack development. Maarten obtained a Master of Science degree in Computer Science, specializing in Algorithmic Data Analysis. After graduation, he became a Lead Data Scientist. He worked for dozens of clients, in all sorts of sectors. Nowadays, Maarten works in the cloud and on data and AI architectures. Maarten holds several Microsoft Certifications, including: Azure Solution Architect Expert, Azure AI Engineer, Azure Data Scientist, and Microsoft Certified Trainer.
Big Data Analytics Director. 25+ years in IT, with roles in Big Data, Data Science, Data Warehousing, Business Intelligence, Project Management, Product Development. Passionate about data and technology, eager to learn and apply skills and knowledge in new areas. Other projects: Speaker Curator at TEDxMestre, MTB lover, Volunteer at Civil Protection in Venice.
