I've been asked more than once if moving from another career to Data Science is difficult, and I always say: is as difficult as you want. Obviously there are many jobs in Data Science but I'm sure there's one for you. Let's demystify the subject and encourage people to become our new colleagues.

Bio: 

Bea Hernández. Head of advanced analytics @ Mediktiv and co-organiser of R-Ladies Madrid. She has built Data Science teams from cero and has mentored junior members as they joined the team. In R-Ladies Bea and her teammates have built a community of non-male programmers encouraging people to pursue coding as a career.
