Deep Learning in R vs. Python Using Keras
Deep Learning in R vs. Python Using Keras

Abstract:

This talk introduces the new Keras interface for R. This is significant, because it opens up all the great innovation using Keras with a Tensorflow backend. The talk covers the history of connecting R/Python together, the importance of Keras, and then walks through several examples of how to use Keras. The examples include building image classifiers, modeling sequential data with RNNs, and generating data with a variational autoencoders. Code will be shared for all the examples.
