Abstract: Demystifying data science roles and responsibilities: There are many opinions and ideas of what skills are needed for a perfect data scientist and to be successfull in the industry. Normally the list includes hundereds of technical skills and a few very wage non-technical skills like "a team player", "strong communicator", etc. But what do we actually mean when we say "data scientist"? Where does their job start or end and what do they really do? I will talk about the struggle of companies that have been so desperately trying to find unicorns but in reality they were combining many different skills and roles into one. I will explain all the other roles that are needed in a successful data science team and the skills that are really important to be successfull.
