Abstract: 

Services like ChatGPT and others powered by Generative AI are fueling innovation and efficiency across industries. However, for enterprises these services do not come without their risks, as they raise critical questions regarding data privacy and contextual accuracy considerations. In this presentation, we delve into the deployment of open source LLMs within secure environments. We discuss the advantages of this approach for enterprises, including heightened data privacy, improved accuracy, and greater control over AI implementations in enterprise settings.

Jake is currently working as a Principal Technical Evangelist at Cloudera. Before joining Cloudera, Jake worked as a Data Scientist and Solution Architect at ExxonMobil. Additionally, he worked as a Senior Data Scientist at FarmersEdge. Before starting his professional career, Jake obtained his bachelor’s and master’s degree from Brigham Young University.
