Abstract: Visualizations are the most important way we can intuitively make sense of our data. And the best way to dig deeper into our data is to make those visualizations interactive. Everyone from the New York Times to Google is using interactive visualizations to tell stories and analyze data. D3, an open-source Javascript data visualization library, is the most popular tool to that end. In this workshop we'll go over the basics of D3 4.0. Participants will learn how to create compelling and reusable interactive visualizations using real-world data, and will be able to use these skills to enrich their current data science projects.
