Learn how to Build Interactive Data Apps with Plotly Dash

Abstract:

In today’s data-driven world, static dashboards are no longer sufficient for the needs of data consumers and businesses. People need quick access to information and must be able to rapidly create and deploy data applications for both creating and consuming analytics, models, and more.

Traditionally, the process of developing data applications has required multiple teams of developers, IT experts, and data consumers coordinating over months — if not years — to build even simple dashboards and applications. That’s where Plotly and Dash come in. Plotly is one of the most widely used data visualization libraries in the world. With Plotly, users are able to create beautiful and robust interactive visualizations with only a few lines of Python code.

The open-source Dash framework builds upon the power of Plotly and React and abstracts away all of the complexity required to build full-stack data applications, complete with interactive visualizations and custom user interfaces. With Plotly and Dash, all Python users can fully-featured data applications in days or weeks instead of months or years. In this technical workshop, Mingo Sanchez, a Senior Sales Engineer at Plotly, will teach you how to build a Dash application from start to finish.
