Abstract: AI is increasingly embedded in our lives, even in highly regulated industries such as banking and finance. Financial institutions are becoming more advanced in the use of AI technologies to better understand their customers, grow their business, and improve their operations. However, the use of AI can lead to unintended consequences e.g. privacy, biasness, unfairness. To address such issues, regulators are introducing guidelines, such as the Monetary Authority of Singapore (FEAT principles) and the Hong Kong Monetary Authority.
This presentation aims to share recommendations on the implementation of Responsible AI, focusing on the following:
- What are the main issues around the use of AI?
- What is Responsible AI? What are the key principles?
- How can we achieve Responsible AI? How can we do this in a systematic way?
