The Application of NLP and AI to Uncover Evidence from Scientific Literature

Abstract:

The presentation will cover three uses that show how information management workers and data scientists can employ Causaly’s knowledge graph to answer questions related to treatment landscapes, disease pathophysiology and target identification/validation and more. Unlike some statistical approaches, such as word co-occurrence, Causaly’s algorithms identify the directionality of entity relationships through the lexico-syntactic analysis of free text from over 30 million scientific publications.
