Bio: Leonard Newnham is LoopMe’s Chief Data Scientist. He holds a PhD in Machine Learning and has over 18 years' experience in applying machine learning in the real world, with 15 of those working in real-time behavioral targeting companies, using big data and AI applied to the advertising industry. He also co-authored AI papers alongside David Silver, the brains behind the AlphaGo project. Leonard has spoken at various large international conferences, including the ICML and ECML (International and European Conference on Machine Learning). He also currently holds 7 granted patents, 8 pending, 11 as lead inventor, all in the field of machine learning.
